ShantyTown

Shantytown is a king of the hill style map that is designed to force players to attack the main point by means of various paths. The paths are narrow and are meant to cause players to work together to create the most effective means of attacking through those paths. The map is themed like a shantytown with inspiration drawn from South American and Asian shantytowns. The map also draws on some TF2 backstory by implying that the Red and Blu corporations have caused the poverty found in the shantytown.

Swamp

This map was a contest entry at TF2Maps.net. The criteria for the contest was to create a map using a set of custom swamp themed assets that were created by the TF2Maps.net community. The map did not need to be functional and was meant to show the application of the assets. This map is designed to have traditional aspects of a swamp shack scene with some more fantastic elements. The scene uses a dense fog as well which was inspired by Left 4 Dead style of scenery.

Battlegrounds

Battlegrounds is a special control point map that is designed to explore the principles of defense. I would describe the map as an "active defense" map in which the defence does more than simple defend, yet its team role is not completely offensive as it can become in 5 point control point maps. Rather, the defense (red team) must hold out for 10 minutes and must only defend the final point. Blue team must only capture this final point in order to win the round. There are other control points located around the map and control of these points will give blue team distinct advantages over red team. The Final Point starts locked and Blue team must own at least 2 of the other control points in order to unlock the final point. Red team can recapture these points in order to negate the blue advantages and to keep the final point locked. The control points allow blue team to: have a forward spawning position, allowing for quicker access to the final control point; have access to a seperate path that leads directly to the final control point with a staging area for teleporters to allow blue team to bypass many effective sentry positions in the red base; increase red respawn time to keep red from reinforcing their players as quickly as before.

Piratelife

Cp Piratelife is a medium sized pirate themed map that is emphasizing athmosphere and theme. The map features 3 stages with 2 capture points per stage. Each stage features blue spawn aboard a pirate ship and they play the "pirates" in the map. The red team defends various locations that are important to the pirates such as a cargo ship, the govenor's mansion, or a secret cove harboring a gold laden ship. The map also features a custom skybox texture and several other textures needed to complete the pirates theme.

Terran

Pl Terran is a payload map that is designed to cause players to change their classes as the bomb cart progresses. The various areas contain very different designs while keeping a cohesive and progressing theme. The areas also contain wide attack paths causing the defending team to strategically position their defenses and prevent impassible bottlenecks.

Toolbunker

Arena_toolbunker is a payload map that is designed to cause players to change their classes as the bomb cart progresses. The various areas contain very different designs while keeping a cohesive and progressing theme. The areas also contain wide attack paths causing the defending team to strategically position their defenses and prevent impassible bottlenecks.

MesoAmerican

Cp Mesoamerian is a 5 capture point control point map. Both teams must capture the points in sequence and push the other team back to their respective pyramids. The map has a mayan theme and I created the custom textures for the map. The map features a setup timer like other TF2 maps but the setup timer actually controls a central pillar that covers the primary control point. This allows the players to fight without being able to capture the central point or to try and get into a good capturing position. The central point also contains a large pit which makes fighting in this area more perilous.
